Vestal Carlton, age 77 of Lowell, Arkansas and formerly of Newton County, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas.
Vestal was born in Shiloh, Arkansas on January 28, 1936 to Doy and Ader (Watson) Reynolds. Vestal enjoyed dancing, gardening and taking care of her flowers, she loved helping people and spending time with her grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Kenneth and Delmer Reynolds; Vestal is survived by her special friend and dance partner of 25 years, Wayne King of Pleasure Heights, Arkansas; one son, Don Dwight Carlton of Gadsden, Alabama; two daughters, Lois Ann Mason and husband Scot of Rogers, Arkansas; Sheila Carlton of Lowell, Arkansas; two brothers, John Reynolds of Elm Springs, Arkansas; Dewayne Reynolds of Hulbert, Oklahoma; three sisters, Velma Casey of Jasper, Arkansas; Vera Pearlie Bell of Bend, Oregon; Ruby Harris of Rogers, Arkansas; eight grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday March 6, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Benton County Memorial Park (3800 W. Walnut) in Rogers, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Rogers Free Will Baptist Church (900 S. Dixieland) in Rogers. Burial services will be 3:00 pm, Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Shiloh Cemetery near Jasper, Arkansas Newton County.
