Alan B. Frus, 83, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born May 28, 1942, in Union County, Iowa, to the late Roy Frus and Nelle Bennett Frus. On July 16, 1971, Alan married Brenda Halley in Harrison, Arkansas. Alan worked as a sales representative for Coca-Cola for forty years. While living in Illinois, Alan served the community as a volunteer firefighter. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Rogers for over fifty years. He served the church as a greeter and loved his church family. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He never missed a child or grandchild’s sporting event or activity. Alan enjoyed being the jokester of the family. He was also an avid Razorback fan, and, after retirement, he ushered at their sporting events.

Alan is survived by his wife, Brenda Halley Frus, of Rogers; three children: John Frus of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Melinda (David) Manning of Nampa, Idaho and Joseph (Allison) Frus of Springdale; siblings: Larry (Marilyn) Frus of Arizona, Phyllis Frus of Oregon, Ken (Kathy) Frus of Illinois and Marilyn (Ron) Schweitzer of Illinois; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorial service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2026, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Rogers with Brother Tom Hatley officiating. Memorials may be made in Alan’s memory to Immanuel Baptist Church Raising The Cross Fund, 2555 South 26th Street, Rogers, AR 72758, or Circle of Life Hospice. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses of Circle of Life Hospice for their excellent care of Alan and the entire family.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home in Rogers.
