Mrs. Allene LeRae Comfort, 88, went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2020. Allene was born in Farmington, Arkansas and was one of three children born to Raymond and Elizabeth Rogers. She attended school in Cane Hill and Prairie Grove, Arkansas and then later attended Northwest Community College in Rogers, Arkansas. She was the co-owner and manager of Treasure Chest Antiques and was a member of Rogers First Baptist Church. Allene was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Rigney Comfort and her brother and sister Tommy G. Rogers and Raylene Rogers Crawford. She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Diana Ashley; her son, Paul Gregory Comfort and her three grandchildren, Tiffany Anne Fordyce, McKenzie Leigh Comfort and Kasey Christine Comfort. A memorial service is scheduled at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. on Friday. The family will receive guests from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Friday. A graveside service will follow shortly thereafter. Memorial donations may be made in Allene's name to the Northwest Arkansas Women's Shelter and the Rogers Public Library.
