Alvin Burton "Burt" Emerson Jr., 40, of Gravette, passed away April 29, 2012. Burt was born Dec. 31, 1971, in Fayetteville, Ark., to parents Alvin Burton Emerson Sr. and Kay Mills Emerson. Burt was a member of the Baptist church and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Burt was preceded in death by his wife, April; and his father, Alvin Burton Emerson Sr. He is survived by his mother, Wilta "Kay" Sain Emerson of Collinsville, Okla.; sons, Christopher Keehner Emerson and Travis Isaiah Emerson of Bentonville; daughters, Cara Kay Emerson and Gabby Daegon Emerson of Bentonville and Brittany Scism of Siloam Springs; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services are set for 3 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012, at The Haven Family Worship Place in Bentonville. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers.
