Antoinette "Toni" Spears, age 74 of Gentry, passed away February 1, 2023. Toni was born September 13, 1948 in California to parents Anthony Simas and Wreatha Senn Simas. She worked for many years in medical records in the Pine Bluff, Arkansas area. Toni was a member of the First Baptist Church of Highfill and she was a member of the Missions Group. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and volunteering. Toni was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Spears; parents and son, Steve Scott. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Holt and husband Jon of Gentry; four granddaughters, Lindsey Hershenson and husband Holden of Siloam Springs, Whitney Robinson and husband Ethan of Gentry, AnnDee Holt of Gentry, Sarah Scott of McGregor, Minnesota; grandson, Nathan Scott of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, eight great grandchildren; sister, Theresa Fischer and husband, Pete of Arizona and brothers, Greg and Gary Simas, both of California; step daughter Bobbie Runion and husband Greg of Pine Bluff and step son Charles Scott and wife Terri of Pine Bluff and numerous other family and friends. A celebration of mom's life will be Saturday, February 11 at 2pm at First Baptist Church Highfill. Brother Jimmy Holmes will be officiating. A funny or not so funny story or memory you have of her would be welcomed. Final resting place will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Possum Valley, Arkansas at a later date. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers.
