Mr. Arnold "Arnie" Orville Bader, age 77, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.. He was born October 5, 1943, in San Francisco, California to Orville Roy and Elizabeth Ann Francis Bader.

Mr. Bader worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and served in the United States Navy and the Arkansas National Guard.

Mr. Bader is survived by his daughter's , Gracia Harrington and husband Phillip of Lowell, AR, Sarah Bader and partner Mark Irwin of Grove, OK; Grandchildren: Christine Kirkendoll and husband Shane of Vilonia, AR, Charles Ray Harrington and partner Erika Jorge of Rogers, AR, Cassandra Hernandez and husband Jose Carlos of Rogers, AR, Chynna Violet Harrington of Rogers, AR, James Hayes and fiancé Silver Hammers of Rogers, AR, Scarlett Hayes and partner Zach Beachy of Tontitown, AR, Annelise Ford and fiancé Jeremy Arnett of Grove, OK, As well as a dozen Great Grandchildren; Sisters: Beverly True of Rogers, AR, Lois Hopkins and husband Gary of Springdale, AR, Betty Jean Harrington of Gentry, AR, As well as several Nephews, Nieces, and Cousins
Arnie, when health allowed, was an avid deer hunter and vegetable gardener. Over the years, on his small "farm" outside of Gentry; he raised fancy chickens that laid colored eggs, goats, horses, mules, peacocks, and guinea fowl. He was a talented wood carver, enjoyed playing dominoes, liked arguing his political opinions, and was exceptionally good at "pack ratting". In later years, he enjoyed watching birds, fish, and playing bingo.
Funeral service for Mr. Bader will be held 2:00pm, Friday, September 24, 2021, at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery.
