Audrey Victorine Gunderson, age 85 of Rogers and formerly of Lebanon, Oregon, passed away August 4, 2011. Audrey was born February 11, 1926 in Falls City, Oregon to parents Victor Sedore and Ellen Pearl Rose Sedore. She grew up in Oregon and was united in marriage to Leslie Allen Gunderson in 1945. Audrey displayed her love for others as a mother, not only to her own children, grand children and great grand children but to many other children in need of a loving family environment. Audrey worked for many years as a nurse and nursing home owner giving care to those who could not care for themselves. She was a member of the Rogers Congregation of the Jehovah's Witnesses and was devoted to studying and sharing her faith with her community as well as spending time with her large family. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Allen Gunderson in 1983; sister, Shirley Freeman in 2008; and daughter, Donna Louise Humphries in 2011. She is survived by two daughters, Gayle Clark and husband Ivan of Rogers and Lesley Heikkila and husband Jimmy of Rogers; grandchildren, Monica Jean Storkson, Daniel Dene Storkson, Kevin Austin Storkson, Keith Otto McQuiston, Rhonda Marie Yepez, Gilbert Leslie McQuiston, Raymond Lee McQuiston, Felicia Rose Humphries; thirty great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren. Audrey was loved by all who knew her and her loss left a gaping hole in the hearts of her family and friends. Memorial services for Audrey are set for 6:00 P.M., Friday, August 12th, 2011 at the Rogers Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 1818 West 13th Street, Rogers, AR. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Worldwide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses, care of Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, P.O. Box 328, Rogers, Arkansas 72757.
