Barney Joe Pitts of Fayetteville, passed away at age 81 at his home in Fayetteville, Arkansas on March 2, 2023. He was born January, 5 1942 in Bakersfield, California to parents Orval and Valera Pitts. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Barney was a life long resident of Northwest Arkansas and retired from Pinnacle Foods after many years of employment. Barney loved his dogs, fishing and most of all, his family.

Barney was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Pitts; son, Steven Pitts of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; four brothers, J.T., Roy, Ronnie and Billy Pitts of Clarksville, Arkansas. He is survived by two children; one daughter, Vanah Noble of Fayetteville, Arkansas and one son, Robert Pitts of Siloam Springs, Arkansas as well as a host of family and friends. Cremation arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
