Bennie Rowland "Ronnie" Benson, 66, passed from this life May 7, 2018, in Bentonville, AR. He was born to William Howard "Doc" Benson and Martha Faye Wiggins Benson on May 29, 1951. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bill Benson, Jr. He leaves wife Anna Carol of Rogers, AR, two sisters, Beth Ledbetter (Ken) of Springdale, AR and Barbara Benson of Rogers, two nephews, Michael and Eric Ledbetter, one niece, Jennifer Chapman, and beloved pets, Bella, Sofie, and Molly. Ronnie served 27 years on the Camden City Police Department, retiring as Lieutenant, 15 years as an instructor at Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy in Camden, and 3 years as a security guard in Rogers. Services to be held at 11:00 AM, May 10th in the Benton County Memorial Park Chapel, Rogers. Cremated remains to be interred near his maternal grandparents, Walter and Fay Wiggins, in the Memorial park. Honorary Color Guard to be provided by Rogers Police Department.
