Betty Lou Lewis, age 77, a resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and formerly of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. Betty was born in Siloam Springs, Arkansas on January 5, 1934 to Luther Corby and Elfie Gertrude Harveston. She enjoyed sports and being outdoors, cooking and baking pies, and she loved spending time with family and especially her grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Ronnie and Mike Lewis; one grandson, Ryan B. Lewis; Betty is survived by three sons, Dennis Lewis and wife Suzie of Elkhart, Kansas; Kenny Lewis and wife Candace of Elkhart, Kansas; Chris Lewis of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; three brothers, Sherman "Bill" Harveston and wife Dorothy of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Bob Harveston and wife Sylvia of California; Jerry Harveston and wife Mable of Las Vegas, Nevada; one sister, Jo Ann Winters of Elkins, Arkansas; five grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Private memorial services will be at a later date in Elkhart, Kansas.
