Obituary

Betty Jane Walker went to be with Jesus on Sunday, May 9, in Bentonville, Arkansas at the age of 85.

Betty is survived by her husband of 67 years – Bobby Glenn Walker of Bentonville; two sons - Kerry (Ruth) Walker of Gravette and Brad Walker of Lufkin, Texas; one sister – Eloise Hughes of Dallas, Texas and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents – John and Mary Alice Copeland and one daughter, Robin Walker Pemberton.

Betty was born in Texas and spent many years in Montana where she and her husband owned and operated an antique business. As her parents aged, they returned to Texas to take care of them. Upon the death of her parents, they moved to Arkansas for several years, then relocated to Minnesota. She was co-founder of The Jonathan House Ministries and helped many individuals come to know Jesus over the next 20 years of her life. She and Bobby recently moved back to Arkansas to be closer to family.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 12 at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home in Rogers. Funeral will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 13 at the funeral home followed by a private burial at the Fayetteville National VA Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Northwest Hospital ICU and The Circle of Life Hospice Center, both in Bentonville, for their outstanding care and treatment of Betty.
