Beulah M. Holtmeyer, age 92, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away February 18, 2016. Beulah was born May 23, 1923 in Horton, Kansas to parents Ross and Frances Sutton Alumbaugh. Having lived primarily in Topeka, Kansas, Beulah dedicated her life to her husband, family, and friends. She faithfully served in Customer Relations at Kaw Valley State Bank for over 40 years, retiring in 1990. In 2012 Beulah moved to Rogers, AR, the birthplace of her mother, Frances Sutton, born in 1903. Beulah was gifted with hospitality, always helping others feel welcome. Even at age 92, she knew everyone's name at the retirement community where she was living. Beulah enjoyed national and international travel. She was an avid and talented bowler, and played women's baseball and basketball in Topeka. She also enjoyed gardening, and was an excellent baker. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Robert "Bob" Holtmeyer, parents, two brothers, Waymond and Burt Alumbaugh and sister, Elizabeth Briggs. Beulah is survived by 6 nieces and nephews, 9 great nieces and nephews, and 6 great, great nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her positive and encouraging spirit, her CAN DO, never give up attitude toward life, and for her sense of humor. Memorial Services are set for 3:30 on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at InnisFree Retirement Community Chapel, 300 W. InnisFree Circle, Rogers. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers.
