Obituary

SSgt. Bobby Ray Fritz was born March 10, 1947, to Orville and Barbara Fritz in Willmar, MN. He passed away on April 13, 2022, at age 75 of a heart attack at his home in Rogers, AR. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Diana, and sons Jonathan (Nga) Springdale and David Fritz, of Rogers, AR. Granddaughters Alexis Fritz, and Christina Fritz. Also, brother Gary (Jane) Fritz and Lynnette (Don) Karas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald.
Bobby wore many hats growing up. His first job was a paperboy and then a pinsetter at the Homestake R & C Center, Lead, SD. He graduated from Lead High School in 1966 and joined the Army National Guard which lasted 26 years. Bobby wore a Homestake Gold Mine hat for 32 years (1966-1998). Other hats were volunteer fireman, assistant deputy sheriff, Lawrence, CO. Search, and Rescue. When the family moved to NWA, he worked for Walmart Store 1 TLE for 15 years.
Bobby enjoyed woodcarving, making barn wood clocks, and his family adventures. He enjoyed the deer in the backyard, the hummingbirds, and his 1954 Chevy Bel Aire.
