Brenda Joyce Akin, age 54 of Springdale, passed away November 24, 2012 at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. Brenda was born on March 1, 1958 to Charles and Ruby Akin. Brenda worked through the help of the Elizabeth Richardson Center of NWA. (www.ercinc.org ) She is survived by one brother, Jimmy Akin of Springdale; three sisters, Mary Sawyer of Springdale; Lisa Fox of Rogers; Patty Fausnaught of Springdale; and her significant other, Tommy of Fayetteville. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
