Carlene June Howrey, 82 of Rogers, passed away Saturday, September 13th, 2014 at her residence. She was born June 5, 1932 in Nehawka, NE. She was a school teacher and homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Merril; three sons, Scott and Anna of Destin, FL, Brian of Manilia, Philippines, and Michael and Carrie of Rogers. 2 wonderful grandchildren, Drake and Loren Howrey of Rogers and a brother, Lawrence Cox of Concordia, KS and a brother-in-law, Glen and Evelyn Howrey of Randolph, IA. Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, September 18, at Central Methodist Church in Rogers with Rev. Jim Keith officiating. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date in Iowa.
