IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carol
Kellner
June 13, 1935 – October 30, 2018
Carol J. (Batig) Kellner. Carol entered the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, October 30, 2018. Born June 13, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio to Hebert E. and Ferne M. (nee Larson) Batig, she was the only daughter in their family of four children. Carol graduated from Lutheran High School, where she participated extensively in music and athletics. In 1968 while working at General Electric- Nela Park, she met Fred Kellner, a handsome young man who became the love of her life. They celebrated their 40th anniversary shortly before his death in 2008. No matter where they lived across the country, Fred and Carol were active in a local church and demonstrated their love for God in everything they did. They opened their home to friends and strangers equally, both young and old, where blessed by Carol's gift of hospitality. Carol had a great passion for many things; sports, music, traveling, Missionettes, quilting and other needle crafts, but her greatest love was her family. She was reunited in heaven with her parents, Herbert and Ferne, mother-in-law Gertrude (Nanny), husband Fred, grandson Jeremiah and great grandson Kamrin. She is survived by her children Cynthia Brow, Ronald Osiek (Kathleen) and Kimberly Rafter (Sivert), grandchildren Jayme, Kayla (Brian), Carolyn, Zachary (Amanda), Margaret, Josiah (Sadie), Justin, Madison and Ethan, great-grandchildren, Morgan (Casey), Richard, Eleanor, Izzabella, Elijah, Isaiah, Louna, Oliver and Vanna, brothers, Charles (Julianna), Richard and Raymond (Margaret) Batig and many other family and friends. A special thank you to Amy and Kenslee for loving her so much and filling her days with happiness these past few years. A celebration of Carol's life will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 at New Hope Assembly of God Church, 2626 W. New Hope Rd, Rogers, Arkansas at 10:00am. Arrangements by Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, Rogers, Arkansas. Celebration of Life 10:00 AM Friday, November 16th, 2018
