Carolyn Georgina Gulas, age 73 of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Katherine's Place in Fayetteville. She was born March 19, 1950 in Montreal, Canada to the late George Brown and Claire Dandrea.  Carol established a decade-long residency in Northwest Arkansas after relocating from Central Arkansas. She was a Registered Nurse Practitioner and passionately dedicated her life to caring for babies and children for her 30-year nursing career in Central Arkansas. Carol was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  She enjoyed outdoor activities, particularly bird watching, fishing, camping and the joy of artistic expression. Carols heart found fulfillment in the company of her family. Her absence will be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Robert Gulas.

Carol is survived by her loving daughter, Amy and husband, Dana Cash of Fayetteville; son, John and wife, Nicole Gulas of Fayetteville; two grandsons, Christopher Gulas and Dominic Cash, both residing in Fayetteville; two granddaughters, Bailey and Cleo Cash, also of Fayetteville; two sisters, Arlene Starr and Rhonda Chiocchiarro, both of California; two brothers, George Brown Jr. and David Miller, both of California; step-mother, Lola Brown, step-brother Michael Caughlin, and two step-sisters, Patty Armacost and Kelly Ordos-Caughlin- all of California; life partner, Sherry Quast of Indianna; best friend, Charlene Meserve and her son, Dennis Cash of Fayetteville.

A memorial service to celebrate Carol's life will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Benton County Memorial Park & Funeral Home, (479) 636-2412.
