Charles Ray Copher, age 83 of Bentonville, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Circle of Life in Bentonville. He was born on July 25, 1939 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late Baz and Maude Louise Pinkerton Copher. On July 25, 2020 he was united in marriage to Grace Copher in Rogers, Arkansas. He was a resident of Fort Smith most of his life until moving to Bentonville in 2016. Charles retired after being employed for many years with Riverside Furniture in Fort Smith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and raising dogs in his free time. Most of all, he loved family gatherings and spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Copher was preceded in death by his first wife, Patsy; son, Eddie Workman; two brothers, Bill Copher Sr. and Baz Copher Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Grace; son, Mark Copher Sr.; two daughters, Charlia Coffee and Cindy Gray; three grandchildren, Mark Copher Jr., Audrey Ralston and Ashlee Neeriemer; seven great grandchildren, Brooklyn Schuman, Dalton Schuman, Jerri Garrett, Taylor Copher, Tyler Copher, Ana Neeriemer and Soren Neeriemer; three great-great grandchildren, Burklee, Mylee and Asher; sister, Patricia Caughorn; brother, Paul Copher.
