Charles Dee Vinson, Jr., age 69, a resident of Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at his home in Bentonville. Charles was born in Hanford, California on July 15, 1942 to Charles Dee, Sr. and Margie (Anderson) Vinson. In 1975 he married Karen (Lewis) Vinson and they were married for over 36 years before his death. Charles enjoyed history and he served his country in the United States Army National Guard and worked as a Law Enforcement Professional and he will be missed very much. Preceded in death by his parents, one son, Charles Dee Vinson, III, and one sister, LaDonna Vinson; Charles is survived by his wife Karen Vinson of the home in Bentonville, Arkansas; one son, Gunther Vinson and his wife Tessa of Bentonville, Arkansas; one daughter, Dee Dee Vinson of Bentonville, Arkansas; one brother, Chon H. Vinson of Indio, California; five grandchildren, Courtney, Brandon, Heidie, Skye, and Emberlyn; three great grandchildren, Blake, Chandler, and Peyton; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
