Ken Barry McNeill passed away February 16, 2020, at home in Rogers, Arkansas. Ken was born June 10, 1935, to Ruby and Edward McNeill in Hutchinson, Kansas. He grew up with his sister, Monita Timmons (George) and two brothers, Neil McNeill (Betty) and Lynn McNeill (Beverly). He graduated from Topeka High School in 1953. After high school, Ken attended Kansas State University and received a Bachelor's degree in Business and later earned a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Chapman University in Orange, California. Ken was a member of the United States Air Force where his service included Bombardier/Navigator in B-47s and Navigator in KC-135s. Later he served multiple positions including IG of USAFE in the mid 80s. He retired in 1987 from ESC in San Antonio, Texas, and moved to Rogers, Arkansas, the same year. He is survived by Freda Harrison McNeill, whom he married in the summer of 1976, and his two children, Barry McNeill (Deanna) and Ann Roy. He will be missed by his five grandchildren, Harrison, Michael and Riley McNeill and Amanda and Zachary Roy. His favorite activities were fishing, hunting and a monthly poker group. His family will be getting together for a small remembrance at Benton County Memorial Park of Rogers.
