Obituary

Connie Mae Peterson, 86, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away August 30, 2024, in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born on August 22, 1938, to the late Artie Barrell and Ethel Hamm Barrell in Centerville, Iowa. Connie married the love of her life, Donald Peterson, on June 14, 1959, in Centerville, Iowa. She was a member of the Living Word Lutheran Church, where she would spend time with her bible study group. Connie enjoyed playing games, such as Skip-Bo, dominos, and bridge. She spent much of her life camping and spending time with her family. Connie spent many hours sewing in retirement after working more than twenty-five years at the Walmart General Office. Also, many hours were spent working at Lake Country RV, the business she helped Don and Arlyn build. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Peterson, and her daughter, Cindy Hunter.

She was survived by her children, Arlyn Peterson and wife Denise of Rogers, Arkansas, and Gail Fenix and husband Todd of Lowell, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Megan Golowenski and husband Marshall, Logen Peterson, Sarah Fenix, and Amanda Fenix; and two great-grandchildren, Kaisley Golowenski and Myles Golowenski.

A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2024, at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home in Rogers, Arkansas.
