Cora "Ruth" Wells, age 89 of Rogers, passed away September 28th, 2018. Ruth was born February 26, 1929 in Newport, Arkansas to parents Charles Hawkins and Cora Pickens Hawkins. She was united in marriage to Louis C. Wells and they enjoyed many years together. Ruth worked mainly as a secretary and was always a great support to Louis as he served a career in the U.S. Navy. In later years Louis and Cora moved to Northwest Arkansas. Ruth enjoyed crossword puzzles, traveling and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis and one great grandson, Jameson. Ruth is survived by her sons, Kelly Wells and wife Julie of California and Gary Wells of Bentonville; grandsons, Joshua and Jed Wells of California; eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Circle of Life Hospice. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W.Walnut, Rogers.
