Obituary

Cory Daniel Morris, 46-year-old resident of Farmington, Arkansas, passed away on July 30th, 2024. He was born, February 9th, 1978, to Stacey and Debbie Morris, in Memphis, Tennessee. Cory grew into a man of strength, wisdom, and unwavering support to all the following Family and friends.

Cory was married to Ana Isabel Palacios on December 17, 2020, in Cave Springs, Arkansas. He has two children, Kaden, and Lillianna, who he loved very deeply. Cory was a very strong man, who was incredibly supportive of his friends and family. A bit reserved, Cory was an observer of the world, yet he had a great sense of humor and an even better laugh. Cory had a deep love for reading, especially sci-fi, though he enjoyed all genres, besides romance. He was known for his intelligence, often earning him the endearing nickname "Corypedia" from his wife, due to his knowledge on a wide array of subjects. Cory was bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish, a testament to his love for learning. His interests were many and varied throughout his life, including playing the trombone in band and the bass guitar in his own time. Cory had a passion for motorcycles and was a proud member of Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA), he also loved muscle cars. From fishing to archery, Cory was a jack-of-all-trades, reminiscent of his days in the Boy Scouts. He had a special fondness for firearms and cherished his time spent in nature. Animals held a special place in Cory's heart, especially his dog, Azalea, affectionately known as BeeBoo for her expressive cries for attention. Cory did work as a cook for many years, and he had a passion for cooking at home, delighting his family with his home cooked meals, particularly his famous deer meat chili. After being a cook for many years, he decided to change gears, and he ran a floor cleaning business, BASIC hard Floor and Carpet Cleaners. Cory also dedicated his time to serving his church, Iglesia de Dios Exquisita Presencia, reflecting his commitment to his faith and community. Cory's legacy is one of love, intelligence, and a zest for life. He leaves behind a family and community that will forever miss his laughter, wisdom, and unwavering support. Cory is preceded in death by his mother, Debbie Paulette Morris, and his grandma Morris and his grandpa and grandma Foster.

Cory is survived by his wife, Ana Isabel Morris, of the home; children, Kaden Daniel Morris, Farmington, Arkansas, and Lillianna Elizabeth Morris, of Farmington, Arkansas; father, Stacey Olen Morris; sister, Jennifer Cloud and husband Nick, of Cordova, Tennessee; Aunt Sharon, Uncle Ron, Aunt Dip, Uncle Tom; and many other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be August 17th, 2:00 pm at Inglesia de Dios Exquisita Presencia.
