Cynthia Ann Upton, 76, of Rogers, Arkansas, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers. She was born on July 2, 1947, in Bentonville, Arkansas, to the late R.V. (Rudy) and Freda M. (Terrill) Atchison.

Cindy had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and cherished spending time with her family, particularly enjoying activities like hunting, fishing, camping, archery, and shooting guns. Her expertise in marksmanship led her to become the Arkansas State Archery champion in her division during the mid-1970s. She also possessed exceptional skills with a pistol, often outshooting her peers.

In her professional life, Cindy dedicated many years of service to various endeavors. She began her career at Bear Brand Hosiery of Rogers in the 1970s and later transitioned to Warehouse #6001 in Bentonville, Arkansas. For approximately 16 years, she contributed her talents to WalMart, where she held the position of new store liaison at Warehouse #6008. Following her tenure at WalMart, Cindy joined the family business of "Upton's Auto Body" in Rogers, Arkansas, until its sale around 2011.

In addition to her achievements and career, Cindy was deeply connected to her family. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin brother, Michael D. Atchison.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Lee (Tom) Upton; devoted sons, John T. Upton and James L. Upton, both of NW Arkansas; caring brothers, John R. (Randy) Atchison of England, Arkansas, and Jimmy Lee (Jim) Atchison of Van Buren, Arkansas.
