IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Daniel Alan
Callison
December 9, 1955 – December 12, 2024
Daniel Alan Callison, 69-year-old resident of Bentonville, Arkansas passed away on December 12, 2024. He was born to the late Merl and Miriam Callison, on December 9, 1955 in Rogers, Arkansas. Danny was a loyal fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Kansas City Chiefs. His love for NASCAR was well known; even if he dozed off during a race, he would miraculously wake up just in time to catch the final ten laps. Danny's lifelong interest in cars began in his youth, where he spent hours tinkering on vehicles. This enthusiasm stayed with him throughout his life. Danny was a remarkable cook, he had a unique talent for recreating dishes after tasting them just once, often preparing delicious meals entirely from scratch. Danny loved sharing these meals with his family. His unwavering love and devotion to his family were evident in everything he did, from the smallest gestures to his heartfelt presence in their lives. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved him. Danny was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip "Sonny" Callison; and brothers-in-law, Hale Zander, Wayne Welker, and Bill Dryden.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Callison, of the home; son, Casey Callison and his wife, Izzy, of Springfield, Missouri; sisters, Merlene Dryden, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, Sue Welker, of O'Fallon, Missouri, Diane Bariola and husband, Tommy, of Tontitown, Arkansas, Shelley Frank and husband, Terry, of Rogers, Arkansas; grandchildren, Brooks Callison, of Springfield, Missouri, Hayes Callison, of Springfield, Missouri; and many more nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.
