Darrell Lester Mason, age 86, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at his home that he shared with his wife and kids for 43 years.  Darrell was born January 26th, 1937 in Christie, Oklahoma to Lester and Eleanor Mason.  Darrell served proudly in the United States Army.  He went on to marry Marquita Horton and they enjoyed over 62 years together.  Darrell enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting guns and riding his motorcycle.  He loved his grandchildren more than life and they brought him so much joy.  Darrell worked and later retired from Franklin Electric.

Darrell was preceded in death by his wife, Marquita and parents.  He is survived  by his three children, Leslie Beth LeRoy, Lucian Black and wife Erin and Heather Vanderburg and husband Samuel.  Darrell was also blessed with ten grandchildren and great grandchildren, Amanda, Haley and husband Cordell, Kaylin, Channing, Remy, Piper, Hazel, Ava, Asher and Henzley.

A Memorial Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at the Benton County Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 479-636-2412.
