David Eugene Hodge, age 66 of Fayetteville, passed away November 30, 2012 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. David was born in Pueblo, Colorado on March 22, 1946 to Earl and Mona (Velarde) Hodge. David served his country in the United States Army as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam War and received an honorable discharge. He was involved in the American Legion and enjoyed art and fossil hunting and David was a student of life and he will be missed very much. Preceded in death by his parents; one son, Victor Earl Hodge; and one brother, Joseph Hodge; David is survived by his wife Debbie of Fayetteville; two sons, David Eugene Hodge, Jr. of Hamburg, Arkansas; Eric Jason Hodge and wife Carrie of Missouri; two daughters, Amanda Kay Arnold of Rogers; Anita Marie Burke and husband Gary of California; one brother, William "Bill" Hodge and wife Roberta of Colorado; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Memorial services will be at a later date in Colorado.
