Obituary

Dr. David E. Jeffery DDS of Rogers, Arkansas passed away on August 3, 2024 at the age of 91. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Denise, his son, Sam and a sister, Kathlyn Lawson. David was born in Batesville, Arkansas on April 20, 1933 to Ernestine Hanks Jeffery and Samuel David Jeffery. He was raised on his family's farm on the banks of the White River in Izard County and was a 1951 graduate of Calico Rock High School. David proudly served his country as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division of the U. S. Army. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Arkansas and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee. He would go on to continue his education and expand his expertise to become one of the first to be recognized by The American Academy of Implant Dentistry in Arkansas.
He leaves behind a legacy of exceptional dentistry to the northwest Arkansas area where he practiced for 40 years. He would begin his dental practice in the early 1960's in Rogers and became one of the few dentists in the area. Dr. Jeffery served generations of families and was known for his professionalism and was recognized for his contributions to the progress of dentistry in the state of Arkansas.
Outside of his professional life, David was a dedicated St. Louis Cardinal and Razorback fan. He enjoyed the game of golf and the close friends he shared playing with.

David leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 40 years, Faye.
He also leaves a son, Dr. David "Davy" E. Jeffery Jr. (Joy) and his daughter, Cindy Sinclair
(Scott) and one grandson, Zander. David is survived by his sisters, Jeannine Faith, Carol Cooper and many nephews and nieces.
He is also survived by his stepchildren, Kim Lake (Jeff), Katie "Sissy" Crawford (Eddie), Harrison "Hof" French (Rhonda). Known as "Papa Doc" by his granddaughters; Amanda Young (Russell), Elizabeth Pulliam (Blane), Hannah Peterson (Zach), Emma Slone (Kyle), and Carolina Minervinis (Henry) and many great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Circle of Life Legacy Hospice Facility for their excellent care. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.'
