David Lee Smith, age 77, of Bentonville, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014. Mr. Smith was born January 12, 1937 in Conway, AR to Charles and Lessie Hart Smith who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a son, James David Smith and a daughter, Martha Jo Smith and a brother, Charles Smith. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Teddie Villines of Compton; two brothers, Steven Smith and George Smith; three sisters, Martha Alexander, Ada Payne and Mary Roy; 5 grandchildren, Lacy and Kendall Edgmon, Heath Hasty, Heather Chandler, Cody Villines and James Hasty; 3 great grandchildren, Taylor Chandler, Grace Edgmon, and Ella Edgmon. Arrangements are under the direction of Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers.
