David G. VanWay, age 69, a resident of Greenland, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010 at the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. David was born in Chicago, IL on February 16, 1941 to John and Helen (St. John) VanWay. David was a Vietnam Veteran and retired from the United States Navy. He worked as minister and reporter and enjoyed watching NCIS Crime Dramas on TV, fishing, and photography. Preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Andrea VanWay; David is survived by his wife, Mary (Nesbitt) VanWay of the home in Greenland, AR; three daughters, Lori Jones of SC; Lisa Stone and husband Brian of SC; Natalie VanWay of Fayetteville, AR; one brother, Pete Vanway and wife Holly of PA; one sister, Cynthia Hampton of TX; four grandchildren, Stephen, Katheryn, Trenton, A.J.; one great granddaughter, Carmen; special friends, Charlie Pickett of Gravette, AR; Tammy Calvert of Conway, AR; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Cremation services are under the direction of Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers, AR.
