Dean Murray, 69, of Lowell, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 2, 2026. He was born May 17, 1956, in Wichita, Kansas, to Howard and Ferryl Murray. He was raised in Wichita, graduating from Southeast High School in 1974, and later attended Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, where he studied architecture before returning to Wichita.

Dean married Linda Reynolds on December 30, 1982, and together they raised three sons and one daughter in Wichita and Lowell. Dean was a one-of-a-kind guy. Anyone who ever met him remembered him. He truly enjoyed being around people, whether boating at the lake, riding his Harley, driving his BMW, or simply spending time together. Most of all, he loved being with his family—his wife, children, and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters, and his father-in-law, Cecil Reynolds.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Murray; sons, Matthew Murray and his wife, Erica, Brian Murray and his wife, Brittany, and Adam Murray; daughter, Lauren Wadley and her husband, Josh; grandchildren, Caleb, Cooper, Clancy, Hayden, Lexie, and Mason; mother-in-law, Lois Reynolds; sister, Betty Andrews; along with many friends who were considered family.

A Celebration of Life will take place 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Summit Baptist Church, 1048 S. 48th Street, Springdale, Arkansas 72762. All are invited to the family’s home afterward to share stories and remember Dean.
