Deborah Jean Ortega, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away on April 22nd, 2024. She was born December 6th, 1957, in Cleveland, Mississippi, to the late Bill and Betty Story. Deborah had a great sense of humor, and loved joking around with her family. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often relaxing by watching TV and spending time with her grandchildren. Deborah found comfort in sewing and took pride in her craft. Her love for nature was evident in her passion for horses and her appreciation for the beauty of the outdoors. Deborah found peace in watching hummingbirds and she enjoyed fishing any opportunity she could find. She delighted in preparing meals for her family, creating memories around the dinner table. Deborah also enjoyed hunting for little treasures at the flea market and garage sales. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Terry Boyd.
Deborah is survived by her sons, Johnnie McDonald, of Louisiana, and Gerald McDonald, of Louisiana; daughters, Tamra Morman, of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Sadina Hankins, of Bentonville, Arkansas; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Charlie Story, of Louisiana; sister, Conny Carnes, and her husband, Michael, of Garfield, Arkansas; friend, Glenda Burleson; her fur babies, Tinker, PJ, and Stella; and many other friends, family, and loved ones.
