Delores Maxine Chambers, 90, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed away Monday, May 4, 2026. She was born September 14, 1935, in Bloomington, Indiana, to the late Lowell Hendricks and Dollie Marie Freeman Hendricks. In May 1957 Delores married Oakey Ray Taylor, they had 4 children.  In December 1986 Delores married Samuel Alfred Chambers. A lifelong member of The Church of Christ, Delores was active  throughout her life in the many places she lived. Delores became a member of Bella Vista Church of Christ after she and her husband, Samuel Chambers, moved to Northwest Arkansas from Austin, Texas, in 1989. In her free time, she loved bowling, playing card games, fishing, and was an avid collector. She found peace in her family, whether traveling in the RV to visit them or just spending time together. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Barry Lane Taylor; and two brothers, Wendell and Winfred Hendricks.

Delores is survived by her husband, Samuel Chambers; two sons, Bryan and Bruce Taylor; daughter, Leslie Perkins; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; along with many other beloved family and friends.
