Dixie Ann Ellis, age 34, a resident of Bentonville, Arkansas, went home to her Lord and Savior in Heaven on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Dixie was born in Fargo, North Dakota on January 7, 1977 to Dale and Janet (Albrecht) Winkler. Dixie was a Soldier in The Salvation Army of Rogers, Arkansas and was the Home League Secretary. She enjoyed singing and doing volunteer work with The Salvation Army and Dixie loved her boys, Alex and Thomas more than anything. She also loved God with all her heart. Dixie is survived her mother, Janet Winkler; her father, Dale Winkler; two sons, Alexander James Ellis and Thomas Edward Ellis; her sister, Lori Wright and her brother-in-law Terry Wright; her niece, Grayce Wright and her nephew, Jacob Wright. Along with many other friends and relatives that she loved and that loved her, and her special friend, Mike. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the Dixie Ellis Memorial Fund for her two sons at any First Security Bank location. Celebration of Life services will be at 1:00 pm, Monday, September 26 at the Radiant Life Church (915 W. Central Ave.) in Bentonville, Arkansas.
