Don Ringer, age 73, a resident of Westville, Oklahoma, passed away, Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the Veterans Medical Center of the Ozarks in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Don was born in Winthrop, Arkansas on July 6, 1938 to Wesley Monroe and Bertha Lee (Bush) Ringer. On December 19, 1966 Don married Margie M. (Collins) Ringer in Stillwell, Oklahoma and they were married for over 45 years before his death. Don served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and received an honorable discharge. He worked as a long distance truck driver for many years and was a member of the Proctor Baptist Church in Proctor, Oklahoma. Don enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing dominoes, and spending time with his family, and he will be missed very much. Preceded in death by his parents and one sister; Don is survived by his wife Margie M. Ringer of the home; two daughters, Rena Turn of Colorado; Rita Williams and husband Kenny of Watts, Oklahoma; three brothers, Charles Ringer and wife Jane of Texas; Raymond Ringer and wife Diane of Baron, Oklahoma; Terry Ringer and wife Becky of Minnesota; nine grandchildren, Eric, Rachel, Breanna, Alexandra, Lani, Clifton, Matti, Kevin, and Brandon; one great granddaughter, Natalie; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, January 27, 2012 at Proctor Baptist Church in Proctor, Oklahoma.
