Doris Jean Allison, 86, of denton, Texas, passed away July 9, 2014.  She was born December 1, 1927, to Logan and Pearl Weiford Beaver.  She was a resident of Kansas City for most of her life.  She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters.  She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Jack E. Allison, Sr., son, Jack E. Allison, Jr. (Judy) of Flower Mound, Texas, and daughter, Cheryl Myers (Dan) of West Plains, Missouri; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  Visitation will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 12, followed immediately by services at 3:00 P.M. at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers, Arkansas, with burial to follow.
