Doris Faye Tarlton, age 83 of Lowell and formerly of Mountain View, passed away April 13, 2012 in Springdale. Doris was born in Odessa, Texas on April 19, 1928 to Haven and Ruby (Coswell) Parrish. Doris worked as a professional hair stylist and seamstress and enjoyed volunteering for the Republican National Convention when she lived in California. Preceded in death by her husband Austin "Shorty" Tarlton; her parents; one sister; and one granddaughter, Edie Tarlton; Doris is survived by one son, James Tarlton and wife Margie of California; one daughter, Janice Wallace and husband Glen of Louisiana; several brothers and sisters; three grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; her granddaughter-in-law, Kimberly Lynn Butler and husband William of Springdale; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Private services will be held at a later date.
