Dorothy "Dot" Jaspersohn Knabenschuh Dot Knabenschuh, age 81, died Friday, October 8, 2010 at Regency Hospital in Fayetteville after years of battling illness. Dot was born 27 November 1928 in Branford, CT to Carl Johannes Ingward Jesperson/Jaspersohn and Kirstine Dorthea Cathrine Andersen Jaspersohn. Dot is survived by her husband of 60 years, John L. Knabenschuh of the home in Garfield, AR; one of nine siblings, her brother, Ellsworth Jaspersohn of North Branford, CT; her son Eric and wife Lani; her son Bruce and wife Patricia both of Elizabeth, PA; her daughter, Karen Saunders and husband Richard of Garfield, AR; her three grandsons, Jon Erik Knabenschuh and wife Amber of Orem, UT; Richard and Michael Saunders of Mandeville, LA; two granddaughters, Beth Liedl and husband Timothy of Elizabeth, PA; Emily Rae Knabenschuh of Elizabeth, PA; three great grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dot lived in the territory of Alaska, the Federal Republic of Germany and various states on the West and East coasts of the U.S. Within days of her death, Dot was visited in the hospital by her brother, a niece, her husband, sons, daughter, grandson and two granddaughters. Dot will always be remembered by her family as a loving wife and mother.
