IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Douglas Harry
Mossberger
May 22, 1962 – February 18, 2025
Douglas Harry Mossberger ,62, of Fayetteville, passed away in his sleep on February 18, 2025. He was born in St. Louis, Mo., on May 22, 1963, to Harry Stanley and Frances Kay Mossberger. He grew up in Springdale and graduated from Springdale High School. After graduation, he followed his family to Tigard, OR. While in Oregon, he met and married the love of his life, the late Kristi Logan to whom he would remain married for 27 years until her passing in 2014. Doug adopted Kristi's 2 young children, Sarah Mossberger Carter and the late Jacob Mossberger. Doug lived in many different places around the country and worked in many different industries, most recently in High End Appliance sales. He really enjoyed meeting new people which is what helped make him such a successful salesman. Doug was a Christian and a member of Cross Church in Fayetteville. He loved to spend his time watching college and professional football, was a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan and as a hobby collected sports memorabilia.
Doug is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Kay, his wife Kristi, and his son Jacob. He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Mossberger Carter, his grandchildren Mel and Kay Carter, and Britani Mossberger; his brothers, Brent Stanley Mossberger and his wife Terri of Rogers; and Dale Alan Mossberger and his wife Jacqueline of Novato, California; his nieces Audrey Mossberger-Iyer of Arlington, Virginia, Stacy Brown of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Rhea Mossberger of Novato California; and his nephew Charles Mossberger of Austin, Texas.
Memorial donations may be made to your local animal shelters, as some of Doug's favorite "people" were his pets.
