Douglas C. Zimpel, 80, of Rogers passed away August 19, 2017. He was born May 16, 1937 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, the son of Charles and Lydia Zimpel. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Janet Smrt, and his loving wife, Louann Sue Zimpel. He is survived by his son, David Zimpel and wife, Sheilah, of North Carolina, and daughters, Patrice Hudson and companion Kevin White of Florida and Janice Butcher and husband Perry of Bentonville; sister Patricia Stoch of Minnesota; eleven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. The family shared a private memorial service where Douglas has been interned next to his loving wife in the Benton County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
