Duane Earl Edris, age 63 of Rogers, passed away July 17, 2009. Memorial Services are set for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 25th at Central United Methodist Church of Rogers with Rev. Jim Keith officiating. Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Duane Edris was born January 2, 1946 at Denver, Colorado to parents Homer and Bertha Armstrong Edris. He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He worked for many years as a retail manager and also as an artist. On August 8, 1989 Duane was married to Connie Mae Hansen at Ruidoso, New Mexico. They enjoyed many years of marriage and moved to the Rogers area around 2000. Duane was a member of the NRA, American Legion and Central United Methodist Church. Duane was preceded in death by his parents; son, Duane Jr. and brother, Marty Ward. He is survived his wife, Connie of the home; Mother, Aileen Ward of Golden, Colorado; children, James R. Edris and family of Clifton, Colorado, Susan Gobbo and family of Morrison, Colorado; stepson, James C. Calhoon of Rapid City, South Dakota; two half brothers, Mack Ward and wife Jan of Claremore, Oklahoma, Scott Ward and wife Dianna of Oglala, Oklahoma; sister, Donna Young of Oklahoma City; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Logen Duncan Medical Fund care of Arvest Bank. Memorial 11:00 AM Saturday, July 25th, 2009
