Elizabeth Dew Forrest, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed away on October 11, 2026, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She was born on March 6, 1957, in Columbus, Nebraska to Frank and Betty Dew. 

Elizabeth spent her early life in Nebraska. It was here she met her husband, Jeff. They met at a bar and bonded over football, beginning a relationship that would last thirty-three years. Their life together was filled with travel, companionship, and the simple happiness of sharing the things they loved. In 1995, they moved to Arkansas, and in 1999 they settled in Bella Vista. 

Elizabeth built a long career with Walmart, where she worked for twenty-two years in the home office. She loved traveling, especially to Disney World, a place she and Jeff visited many times over the years. They also made a tradition of going to Gatlinburg, Tennessee every five years. Elizabeth enjoyed playing bingo and going to casinos, and in her younger years, she loved the thrill of skydiving. She also enjoyed camping with her husband, creating many happy memories along the way. At home, Elizabeth had a creative and caring spirit. She was very talented at crocheting and often made blankets by hand. She also had a special love for cats. She had many over the years and currently had seven, each one part of the home she cherished.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Fuglemsmo; daughter, Christine Forrest; and two stepdaughters. 

Cremation arrangements are in the care of Benton County Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
