Elmer Dewain Holson passed away on September 12, 2022. Elmer was born in Wilburton, Oklahoma on April 19, 1951. Elmer met his wife, Jan Holson, and they were united in marriage on March 9, 1980 in Reno, Nevada. Their journey together was great and they spent a wonderful life together. Elmer had many talents and served as an Sp5 in the United States Army during WWll. His family and friends will dearly miss him. He is survived by his three children, one Son Joshua Holson of Fayetteville, Arkansas, one son, Raymond Holson of Fort Smith, Arkansas and one daughter, Lorri Mathiews of Athens, Texas; Two brothers, Robert Holson of Watts, Oklahoma and Eugene Pillow of Branson, Missouri: Five Grandchildren, and two Great Grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside Military Honor Service arrangements are pending. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 West Walnut, Rogers.
