Enrique Quintero Porras, aged 93, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024, in Bella Vista, Arkansas. Born on July 4, 1931, in Jimenez, Mexico, to Jesus Porras and Herminia Quintero, Enrique's life was a testament to his deep faith and unwavering devotion to serving others.
A devoted Christian and retired pastor, Enrique was passionate about sharing the love of the Lord. His dedication led him to help establish places of worship in both Mexico and the United States. As a loyal servant of God, his fervor for spreading the gospel and uplifting his community was evident in every sermon he delivered. His extensive library of books was a reflection of his lifelong love for learning and reading.
Enrique's legacy is marked by the profound impact he had on the hearts of those he served. Though a failing heart took him from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light and guidance for all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, his third wife Maria Elena Porras (d. 2020), and his beloved son Francisco Javier Porras Sr.
He is survived by his first wife and their children: Juan Porras of Faribault, MN and wife Kathleen; David Porras of Faribault, MN and wife Guadalupe; Raul Porras of Rogers, AR and wife Sonia; Daniel Porras of Rogers, AR; Adriana McGee of Bella Vista, AR and husband Ron; and Enrique Porras of Bentonville, AR and wife Ermedalda. He is also survived by his second wife and their three sons: Francisco "Pancho" Porras, Luis Porras, and Rick Porras, all of Minnesota.
"Visitation Services" will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 26, 2024, and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Benton County Memorial Park & Funeral Home, located at 3800 W Walnut Street, Rogers, AR.
The family requests that donations be made to a charity or organization of your choice that reflects Pastor Enrique's commitment to faith and community service. His memory will live on through the lives he touched and the love he shared.
