Eric Lynn Hixon, age 44 of Springdale, passed away February 26, 2012. Eric was born February 6, 1968 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents Dale Oldham Hixon and Doris Maxine Dickey Hixon. He grew up in the Tulsa area where he worked in sales. Eric was an OU football fan and also enjoyed NASCAR and country music. Eric was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Hixon; two sons, Steven Hixon and Zachary Hixon; five daughters, Brittany Hixon, Destiny Hixon, Courtney Hixon, Layney Hixon and Amber Widlund; brother, Randal Hixon and wife Angela; sisters, Dalene Bougio and husband Phil and Marissa Hixon and husband Mike Hubbard; five nieces; seven nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial Services are set for 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Redfork Church of God in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers.
