Eugene Arden Hastings, age 55 of Lowell passed away November 7, 2010. Gene was born February 7, 1955 in St. Paul, Minnesota to parents Arden Hastings and Lille Margaret Doyle Hastings. For many years he worked in the scrap metal business and in the gaming industry. In 1995 Gene was united in marriage to Debra Shan Partin at Butler, Missouri. In recent years, Gene and Debra were residents of Lowell. Gene was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Debra of the home; children, Tanya Lucas of Pousbo, Washington, Stephanie Hastings of Harrison, Arkansas, Eugene Hastings II and wife Kelly of Kirksville, Missouri, Stephen Hastings of Harrison, Arkansas, Angela Tripp and husband Rick of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, Francis Deegan and numerous grandchildren, relatives and friends. Memorial services are set for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 11, 2010 at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers. Pastor Richard Jebsen will officiate.
