Fleming George Edward Thompson, age 66 of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Willard Walker Hospice in Fayetteville. He was born on November 13, 1956 in Leavenworth, Kansas to the late Fleming Samuel Thompson and Margaret Elnora Ferguson Thompson. On September 21, 1985 he married the late Carrie Bray Thompson in Van Buren. They were residents of Fayetteville since 1980 after moving from Topeka Kansas. Fleming retired from Securitas Security Service in 2002 as a security guard. He had a passion for music and enjoyed playing in his band. Mr. Thompson loved his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Thompson of Elm Springs, Arkansas.

He is survived by two children; Elizabeth Thompson of Chester, Arkansas and Elija Thompson of Van Buren, Arkansas; one grandchild, Jayson Collins of Chester, Arkansas; one sister, Frances Breedlove of Peculiar, Missouri; three brothers, Jacob Thompson, Raymond Thompson and Sam Thompson, all of Fayetteville, Arkansas along with a host of friends.
