Frances was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to David B. Morgan and Genevieve Brinkworth Morgan on June 21, 1925. She went to Shortridge High in Indianapolis where she majored in Commercial Art. Frances was on the art staff of her senior yearbook and graduated in June 1943. While working for Indiana Bell Telephone Co. she met Robert Hudson and they were married at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in 1947. Frances and Robert raised five children and due his position with AT&T moved to New York and to Chicago where they settled. Frances was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis after the birth of her third child. Never one to complain, she carried on with a quiet strength and it went into remission for the most part in her later life. She became interested in family genealogy after a trip to Virginia during America's Bicentennial year of 1976. Her tireless work led the way for one of her daughters to be able to join the DAR. This record of family history is truly a treasure for her descendants. Upon Robert's retirement, they moved to Murray, Kentucky. Their many grandchildren have fond memories of visits to the Kentucky Lake home. Frances was involved with their local parish, St. Leo's Catholic Church. She and Robert were members of the Rosary Makers ministry which they both enjoyed. Frances also joined the local Art League in Murray and created many lovely watercolor, pastel and oil paintings. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, David B. and Genevieve Morgan, spouse, Robert T. Hudson, brother David B. Morgan Jr., sister Joann Morgan, and granddaughter Genevieve Porter.
