Francis Frank Piha, age 89, of Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014 in a Springdale hospital. Mr. Piha was born September 13th, 1925 in Le Center, Minnesota to Frank and Rosemary Genter Piha who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie Russell Piha, a son, "Butch" Francis Frank Piha, Jr., two grandsons, "Rick" Terry Richard Driskill, Jr., and William Piha, and one sister Lucille Northcutt. Frank was a WWII Army Air Corp veteran who flew over 40 missions over Berlin in a B-17 Bomber. After the service, he owned and operated a dairy farm in Oronogo, Missouri. Later, he and his wife operated Maude Ethel's Family Restaurant in Bentonville. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dorothy Russell Piha of Bentonville; two sons, Monte Piha and his wife Gail of Farmington, and Aaron Piha and his wife Shelli of Bentonville; two daughters, Sue Piha Walker and her husband Jim of Rogers, and Janet St. John and her husband Don of Kenai, Alaska; one brother, Leonard Piha and his wife, Marylee of Bella Vista; two sisters, Magdaline Simpson of Mission Hills, California, and Cecilia Heppes of Burbank, California; eight grandchildren, Joesef Walker, Jared Driskill, Joel Driskill and his wife Brix, Sarah Driskill Stewart and her husband Matt, Lauren Clevenger and her husband C.D., Ethan Piha, Kali Piha and Stephen Piha; one great grandchild, Nicolaus Walker; and many nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation from 2:00-3:00pm. The funeral service for Frank Piha will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, November 21, 2014. Both the visitation and the funeral service will be held at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers, Arkansas, . A private graveside burial in the Hill Crest Cemetery in Galena, Kansas, will be held on a later date. Celebration of Life 3:00 PM Friday, November 21st, 2014
