Frank Davis, age 68, a longtime resident of Grove, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, January 14, 2011 at his home in Grove. Frank was born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on August 9, 1942 to Robert and Lucille (Woffard) Davis. On July 24, 1968 he married Pauline K. West and they were married for over 42 years before Frank's death. Frank served his country in the United States Marine Corps Reserves and worked as an owner/operator of the family grocery store and as a handy man. Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, taking trips to Colorado, and being with his family and he will be missed very much. Preceded in death by his parents, Frank is survived by his wife, Pauline K. Davis of the home in Grove, Oklahoma; one son, John Davis and his wife Karen of Tomball, Texas; one sister, Judy O'Donnell and her husband Joe of Glennwood Springs, Colorado; two grandchildren, Kasey Davis and Kourtney Davis both of Tomball, Texas. Frank is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Private family services will be at a later date.
